HISTORY & PHILOSOPHY
Americal.com was created in 1982, with a background in marketing of computer parts and supplies. We are very experienced in volume-buying, discount reselling and customer support. Our company policies reflect many thousands of man-hours spent dealing with the changing computer supplies market. We started in the market the same time that the personal computer was born, in the early 1980's, and we continue in the same market to this day.

PRODUCT SELECTION
Americal.com offers a wide selection of generic "non-branded" data storage media and accessories, backed by our own guarantee. Because we buy these quality products in very large quantities and carry our own warranty, we can sell them to you at very, very low prices -- prices that you will often find are the lowest available in the industry.

We also carry many well known CD-R, CD-RW and other data storage media brands, including -- Sony CD-R/RW, Kodak Silver Plus & Gold Ultima CD-R, Iomega Zip & Jaz, TDK CD-R/RW, Verbatim, Hewlett Packard CD-R/RW, Philips CD-R/DA, Maxell CD-R/RW, Princo CD-R, Imation CD-R/RW, Ricoh CD-R/RW, Ritek, Taiyo Yuden and Mitsui CD-R/RW. We maintain large stocks of well over 90% of the items you see in our online catalog, ready for instant shipment. The great majority of orders are actually shipped the same day their payment is approved. (Charge card orders are generally approved the same day or the very next business day. Some credit approvals may take up to 2 business days during holiday or other very busy periods.) In order to best serve you, we may ship your order from a combination of several different warehouse locations, depending on your location and product availability in the particular warehouse.

This location is a few miles from downtown Los Angeles, near freeways and major airports to enable fast, dependable customer service. The sales office is open Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Time. We are closed all Saturdays, Sundays and national USA holidays, including New Year's Day, President's Day, Labor Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. (in addition to other times as dictated by fires, floods, earthquakes, "The Academy Awards" and other natural or man-made disasters).
